After about 100 years of development and accumulation, Zhejiang Library has possessed a
significant amount of collections now, of which abundant ancient books and complete local
documents are special features. Other collections are more than 820,000 thread-bound ancient
books, including 150,000 rare books; about 4,890,000 common books, 910,000 bound periodicals and
newspapers, 8100 kinds of current newspapers and periodicals, and 150,000 library-collecting
block printings. The most precious collection is the Si Ku Quan Shu stored in Wenlan Pavilion.
